The sea, saw by Tom Percival, is a story about Sofia and her lost Teddy. Sofia’s Teddy was passed by her mother and it was so dear to her. She carried it with her everywhere and loved it so dearly. One day, she and her father took Teddy to the beach and she was having fun until a storm broke out. They collected all their gatherings and ran as fast as they could to get away from the storm. Unfortunately, Teddy fell and she didn’t notice it. Sofia was devastated to know about her Teddy and she searched as far as she can, along with her father. She gave up her search, but the sea didn’t forget it. The rest of the story is the journey of the Teddy in the sea to different places and finally will it reach Sofia?

Sofia's teddy is well-loved and passed on through many generations.

Tom Percival’s illustrations are always spot-on. He described the journey of the Teddy so well and one can anticipate where will the Teddy travel next.

This is a beautiful read and one of our well-read books. I loved the determination of the sea and the Teddy and how it reached Sofia at the end. We can talk a lot through this story to kids, and I would always say no matter what happens, do your best.

A beautiful read to add to your home library and you won’t be disappointed.
