This is an interesting non-fiction book I won in a giveaway for N. This is an interactive pop-up book and has lots of tabs to rotate and flaps to open. Each double-page spread in the book is based around a different question and provides answers, additional facts, and some cool paper engineering.

The book talks about,

* How our world started, and how the universe formed, and how everything around it formed.
* Different seasons
* Day and night
* When and how did life begin?
* Pangaea and Moving plates
* Story of the water cycle
* Weather change
* Why does the sea move?
* Carbon cycle and carbon footprint
* How do plants live?
* Food chains

A very detailed book filled with many interactive tabs. Not many topics were understood by Nathan, but he likes to play with the tabs and we love pulling and reading each page. This book is ideal for kids above 5 years. This fun, engaging book introduces the earth’s important cycles and offers an exciting way to learn geography and science.

The usage of rubber duck to explain why seas move is so creative and it will help the young kid to learn more creatively.

When I listed the contents of both the books, you may wonder, is it an apt book for a 4-year kid? No, not every content is apt for this young kid. But, a few pages are so interesting, and it is very fun to play and learn along. Much information from both the books is new to me and I am learning along with him.

It’s so much fun to open and close the tabs and sometimes he storms at me saying, it’s my book and you are not supposed to play with it.

*Fair enough*
