Bertie is a giraffe who loves to do things in a routine. He ate the same leaves, strolled the same way, and slept under the same tree. His routine was basically sipping, slurp, and snore until he overslept a day. He wakes up alone, and he doesn’t know which way to go. On the way, he meets a unique giraffe called Blue. Both the giraffes were scared to talk, but they got along with each other. They enjoyed each other’s company, have amazing adventures together, and they both became best friends. But Bertie still wants to go home, and that’s when his friendship with Blue was tested. Will Bertie take Blue with him, and will the yellow giraffes accept Blue?

A beautiful book about inclusion and how two unique persons can be friends. It emphasises that being different is not so bad and that different perspectives can even make the world a more interesting place. Kristyna’s artwork complimented well with her lyrical narration and each page was filled with bright colours. When you move into a different city or you are unique in a place, this book will help to lift the spirit and remind people to accept everyone willingly.

This eye-catching book will definitely be admired by kids.
