Isaac is a hedgehog who spends all his time alone and likes it that way. One day, an apple falls from a tree and is stuck on his prickly back. No matter how hard Isaac tries, he cannot shake it off. In his distress and tears, he does not even hear a nearby donkey who crunches the apple right off his spikes. Relieved to be free of his burden, Isaac returns to his solitary life. But when another apple drops by his side, he decides to deliver it to the apple-loving donkey, becoming one very helpful hedgehog.

A beautifully illustrated picture book with a beautiful message.
