Augustus the tiger was sad because he lost his smile. He was so determined to find his lost smile and so made a big stretch to find it. Augustus’ adventure includes forests, seas, and mountains, but no smile. Until one day he discovers raindrops. He cannot resist the temptation and chases the drops, splashing through puddles, until suddenly he looks down into the water all around him and spots his smile on the surface of a puddle. He didn’t realise the smile was inside him and hadn’t realised it throughout his adventure.

Catherine Rayner illustrations are so good and she does it beautifully in all her books. This book will help kids to learn about mountains, valleys, bushes and the sea. Also, a great book to teach about happiness and emphasis to them, happiness will always be inside them. They shouldn’t be disheartened seeing the surrounding situation, but invent happiness from the inside. Another great eye-catching book by Catherine Rayner.
