Magoo and his Magic Poo is a cute, fun story where the author takes us on a journey with a friendly cat. Magoo, the cat’s superpower is his exceptionally smelly poo that makes everyone flee. However, what makes Magoo truly special is his kind heart and friendliness. Magoo is friends with all types of creatures. When he stumbles upon a puppy mill, he knows he has to help. It is clear the dogs are sick and neglected. Magoo takes it upon himself to save them with his superpower. Will he rescue the pups and get rid of the bad man? Pick up a copy of the book and find out.

Just like the unique cat, this book is also illustrated in a black-and-white colour scheme. A good book to talk about kindness to kids. A few illustrations were a bit dark for kids and I would not prefer to be that dark in a children’s picture book. The content is good, yet the illustrations could be a bit more fun.

I chose to read this book after receiving a free e-copy from the author. All opinions in this review are my own.
