‘The something’ is an interesting book for children who love to explore what is under the ground. This one book made us learn more about under the ground and you can read them here CLICK HERE

The something is an imaginary tale by a boy who thinks what can be under the ground. The boy who was playing in the garden dropped a ball unknowingly inside a hole. He then thinks of all the possible creatures living inside the hole. The boy sometimes asks help from different people to know what’s inside the hole. Each person gives him different answers and still, he is not convinced with it. He is very determined to find that, and he sits near the tree. Will he ever find where the ball went?

Rebecca’s illustrations are so vibrant and when you closely notice the cherry tree depicts the change of seasons. The boy patiently waits to find what’s inside. We enjoyed reading this beautiful book and the narrative style by the author was so good.

A very good book to read with your children and get to know their imagination.
