BOOK: IT LOOKED LIKE SPILT MILK
AUTHOR & ILLUSTRATOR: CHARLES GREEN SHAW
PUBLISHER: SCHOLASTIC
PAGES: 32
AGE RECOMMENDED: 2+
A very old classic and simple book for children. This is an imaginary story of what different objects spilt milk can make. But, really, is it spilt milk? You have to find it at the end of the read.
Each page has different objects, and the kid can imagine what they could be. A child can find it using the shadow of the object. The blue and white combination on each page is vibrant and will definitely grab every child’s attention. Though the ending is a surprise, we can ask the child what different objects the milk can form when the milk is spilt.
Beautiful illustrations and colourful pages are definitely a winner for 2+ Kids and also with their repetitive words on every page. Also, this is Nathan’s favourite read.
Many activities can be done with kids using this book and it’s a great book in the classroom to read.
I would definitely recommend this one as a must-have for every home library.
