The book begins with a trivia page, taking us on a journey to explore the fundamental importance of water. It delves into water’s various forms, from rain and rivers to clouds, rainbows, oceans, and the deepest depths of the sea. The author presents each form of water as a narrative, making it an engaging read. I like how each page turn is a little surprise. When I reached the section about underground water, I was captivated by the illustrations, which helped me understand the three types of underground water. The facts were easy to grasp and truly mind-blowing.

The text covers a wide range of topics, including the water cycle, explaining why seas and oceans are salty, detailed explanations of rainbow formation, flooding, glaciers, desert and how people in ancient and modern times have obtained water. The illustrations are what make this book a top-notch read. If your child is curious and asks a lot of questions about water, then this is a great book to add to your bookshelf.
