God Made Me from A to Z is a great book for little kids. It teaches them about the Bible and God in a fun way. Each letter of the alphabet has a God-made me affirmation that goes with it. There’s also a Bible verse to help kids understand the trait. Each devotion has questions to help kids think more about what they’ve learned. There’s also a prayer so kids can thank God. The book has lots of fun activities, like crafts, games, science experiments, and scavenger hunts. These activities help kids remember what they’ve learned in each devotion.
The author did a great job of selecting short Bible verses that are perfect for young children to memorize. The illustrations are bright and colourful, which will engage children’s attention. Some of the devotional chapters include Bible stories, which help to extend the conversation. This book can be used in various ways. One day, children can learn an affirmation, the next day they can learn a Bible verse, and the next day they can do an activity related to the verse. There’s also a song lyric appendix attached at the end of the devotion, where kids have the opportunity to learn a new song. A perfect devotional book to give as a gift to any young child for any occasion.
