DAY 12 SHEPHERD
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep”
John 10:11
Shepherd! Love the characteristics of a shepherd told in the bible. He sacrifices his life just for his sheep. He is said as a good shepherd, as he loves his sheep so much that he gives his life to save them. Just like the shepherd, our heavenly Father gave his life to save us from sin. How grateful we are to have a loving father who does anything for us.
We chose to read Santa’s suit This hilarious book is about a Santa who didn’t want to wear his usual red suit.
He says,
“It’s terrible,” says Santa.
He sighs and shakes his head.
“I want a different coloured suit–
I’m just so bored with RED!”
He tried different colour suits and he found himself funny. He says he will be mistaken for a polar bear or a Christmas tree or a giant lemon or a black and blue and will be hopeless for the night. Then at one point in time, Mrs Claus said be yourself, Santa! So Santa wore his red suit and was so happy. Also, red matches Rudolph’s nose, too.
A cute touch-and-feel book for cute little hands, but with a great twist. Sneakily, you can teach colours also to younger kids.
