A very old classic story about a girl and her Christmas tree. Must say, the girl and I resemble so much for the love of the Christmas tree.
Lisa, the little girl found the perfect Christmas tree in the forest. She loved it so much and visited it all through the year. She felt so Christmassy and she loved singing carols in front of the tree. She wanted to take it home with her, but her mother said, it wasn’t her tree and she should ask permission from the tree’s owner. But one fine day, Lisa remembered what happened to her previous year’s Christmas tree, and she was sad to remember it. In the meantime, her parents told her she could bring her favourite tree home. Lisa has some other plans for her new tree. How can Lisa have her Christmas tree, yet keep it fresh and green forever?
Such a thoughtful story for young kids and how they can save the trees and also have the spirit of Christmas around them. Apart from Christmas, this book also talks about how you can keep food for birds and animals near your home during winter. Lisa and her granny kept some food around the tree and the next day Lisa could see different paw prints around her tree. Such a lovely Christmas read to read during Christmas eve. Nathan and I purely enjoyed reading this story today.
