Ruby’s worry is a part of Tom Percival’s Big, bright feelings book series.
Ruby was a happy child until she discovered a small worry. The worry began very small and slowly it started to grow large by following Ruby everywhere. The worry followed Ruby everywhere and it became enormous. Ruby thought if she ignored the worry, she could be happy as before, but the worry stuck to her like glue and stopped her to be happy. Ruby starts to think of the worry and it took a major chunk of her space. She meets a boy in the park, sad as Ruby and thinks he would be having a similar worry. Ruby’s encounter with someone who looks rather sad makes her realise a great many things, but ultimately that all have worried. Do you think she will find a way to overcome her worry?
Another amazing book by Tom Percival speaks beautifully about worry. Every human in this world has worries and each reacts to them differently. A young child will have different worries, say, will I make new friends in a new school or will I score good marks in a test or will I be liked by all.
A book that talks about different emotions and emphasis mainly on help can solve many problems and can bring back happiness as before.
