Nathan loves interactive books like lift-the-flap books, and touch-and-feel books. He loved turning these flaps from nine months. He’s three now and still enjoys them. One of our favourite series is Usborne Peep Inside Series by Simona Dimitri and Anna Milbourne. This book is special to us because this was our first lift-the-flap book and this book has many flaps to turn. Also, a peep through a hole in each page is spellbound.

There are six peep-inside books for toddlers. They are so colourful and have very interesting information on each page. Each illustration is very detailed and they invite readers to stick to a page for quite a long.

Peep Inside Dinosaurs is all about dinosaurs, their size, names, and habitat. Filled with common dinosaur names, perfect to inculcate the love for dinosaurs. We have huge dinosaur figurines to role-play with in this book.

Nathan was fond of dinosaurs and I picked this book up from Amazon. To my surprise, the book was so beautiful and we both fell in love immediately. We play peekaboo using these books and at the age of 3, he can identify almost all dinosaurs from the book.

Then, slowly, I started getting the rest of the series and I collected them for their awesomeness and laser-cut pictures. We even play the sound of each animal from that book and are amused by the sound he gives. Each book is designed with so much awesomeness and the images are bright and captivating to young readers.

Peep inside Garden is all about the creepy crawlies we find around our garden. Nathan loves going behind bugs and butterflies and he even has a small hand magnifier to inspect any dead bug. Nathan loves going to my parents’ home to play with frogs and all the other bugs. We also enjoyed playing with insect figurines and play dough as part of reading this book. N enjoys doing small imprints in the play dough.

Peep Inside The Farm is all about farm animals and their produce. It has a farmer’s market where you can find farm-related produce. To make this book interesting, read the text along with the sounds of the farm animals and soon you can ask imitate toddler to imitate the sounds. We enjoy setting up a barn role-play and enjoy admiring N’s imagination.

Peep inside the Nighttime is about the nighttime life happening with humans and animals. This book has information about owls, foxes, bakery people, a train taking a journey in the dark also things happening beneath the ground. We have a colony of bats near our house and we could correlate that information while reading this book.

Peep Inside The Zoo is all about zoo animals and their families. Each page gives a description of each animal, its habitat, etc. A perfect book to read before a zoo visit. Also, carry this book while visiting a zoo to spot animals from the book.

Peep Inside Animal Homes is a story about different animals and birds at home. We can peep inside birds nests or rabbits burrows. It also touches on seasons and the environment around us. We can make activities using each animal home and our favourite activity is to make a birds nest.
