This is a beautiful story of a mouse who is waiting for Christmas and is preparing vigorously for the day.
Christmas was only a day away. Millicent Mouse scrubbed and dusted the house, baked cake and made sure everything was perfect for Christmas. She happens to meet a cold hedgehog, a hungry hen family and a skunk with a cold she helped them with all she had. How will she have her perfect Christmas now just like she expected to have?
What does the story say?
A beautiful story about true Christmas, where Millicent helps all her friends in need. Mice didn’t expect anything in return and gave everything she stored for Christmas. She had the joy of contentment in her heart. She didn’t crib or feel bad for the events she faced. The next day to her surprise she found out her friends gave her a pleasant surprise by bringing her favourite things.
How do we celebrate Christmas? Are we thinking of worldly riches and going behind it or are we experiencing the joy of Christmas in our hearts? It’s time to evaluate ourselves in this advent and see where we stand. We have two options one we go behind the Christmas perfection of the cakes, decorations and dresses. Else surrender ourselves to Jesus who is the reason for the season and experience the joy of the season in our hearts.
