This is how God showed his love to us: He sent his only son into the world to give us life through him.
1 John 4:9
God sent his only son into the world so that everyone could know God’s heart. He did many miracles, but he had another special purpose, to die for our sins. After the last supper, he went to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray and to take away the suffering he was going to face. But his prayer was
“Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”
Mark 14:36
The chief priests came to get Jesus from the garden, and he went with them willingly, because it was time to fulfil God’s promise.
They tortured him and scoffed at him. They gave him a crown of thorns. He agonized on the cross for six hours, and the darkness filled the city in the last few hours. This we remember as “Good Friday “. It shows how much he loved us and how his love was perfect. He had already told his disciples that he would rise again on the third day. And just like that, on the third day morning, he rose. Angles announced the good news to all people who visited the tomb”He is not here. He has risen “.
Jesus fulfilled God’s promise and made a way for everyone who believes in him to live forever. Our hearts can be happy at Easter and always because Jesus, our Savior, lives!
He took his seat at the right hand of God, and He is praying for us both day and night. Let’s rejoice every day and give our burdens to him and enjoy our day happily.
